Geraniums (Pelargonium) are sun-loving annuals with bright flowers that bring charming color to the garden. They are most often used in containers and as bedding plants.
Geraniums thrive in full sun (or partial shade in the South) and well-drained soil. They tolerate drought and soil should be allowed to dry out to the touch between waterings.
To keep Geraniums growing and flowering all summer, remove spent flower heads regularly to promote continued bloom.
