Heat loving crop that grows on a vine. Another vegetable plant that benefits from you waiting to plant them.  If the seeds go in the ground while it is still cold, they rot. If the plants go in the ground before it warm enough they will shrivel and die.  It is okay to wait until the beginning of June. You will still get lots of fruit.
